Best TTL Flash For Nikon Z6 and Z7

Can the Nikon Z6 use an f mount lens?

The Z6 can use F-mount lenses in manual-aperture, manual or aperture priority modes. It cannot mount AIS or AI lenses.

Can I use my current Nikon Z6 and Z7 lenses interchangeably?

Yes, you can. The Z6 and Z7 use the same lens mount. You will need to arrange for an FTZ adapter if you intend to shoot using a non-Z mount lens (this will allow you to control aperture from the camera body).

Can I use DX lenses on Nikon Z6?

Yes, Nikon Z6 is a full-frame sensor camera with a focal length equivalency of 1.5x. Such as DX lenses with APS-C format sensors, they will provide equivalent focal length coverage of 1.5x the real focal length of the lens in 35mm format. Meaning: DX 18-200mm will be equivalent to 2700mm on Nikon Z6.

How do I calibrate a Nikon z6 lens?

Most Nikon lenses can be calibrated to work well with the Nikon Z6 and Z7 camera. It may not seem like a necessary feature at first, but actually is quite important. If you don’t calibrate your lens, you may find that your photos come out blurry or unusable because of the incompatibility.

Calibration is really very simple. You simply need to go into the setup menu on your camera and select “calibrate lens”. Follow the prompts, and your lens will be calibrated in a matter of seconds.
